Shyp is offering $50 in free shipping credit for Ebay shipments with code SPRINGCLEANING50.

To get the deal:
  1. Sign up or log in to your Shyp account [shyp.com] today (3/23/17)
  2. Click on 'Free Shipping' in the bottom-left corner of the screen (on desktop - no idea for mobile)
  3. Enter code SPRINGCLEANING50
  4. Connect your Ebay account with Shyp and import your Ebay shipments
  5. Set up your pickup time

Terms & Conditions:
  1. $50 shipping credit expires 4/10/17.
  2. Shipping credit does apply toward shipping charges, packaging, as well as the $4.50 pickup fee. I think there are an unlimited number (within reason!) of shipments you can send on a single pickup fee.

I've confirmed that this deal is not targeted (i.e. I was able to create a new account and apply the code and get the $50 credit), but YMMV.

This service is not yet available in your city.
no go for Las Vegas

also, the discounted rate that they give you negates the ebay discounted rate and is only good if you are doing 20+ packages per month

can you just use the credits to print shipping labels and then mail them USPS?

edit: i believe you have to use their pickup service, which is extremely limited to a few cities nationwide.

That sucks that they're not in Vegas. Sorry! I used the service once in LA and I'm trying it out today in SF.

Just curious, but where did you see this thing about 20+ packages per month?

As far as I can tell, this credit will apply to 100% of your shipping cost up to $50 ($4.50 pickup fee excluded), and the fact that you don't get a small Ebay shipping discount is irrelevant because your shipment is free. I'll take the free shipping over paying for Ebay discounted shipping any day! nod

In general, using Shyp is a bad idea for big Ebay sellers because a) they charge a pickup fee, and b) they might charge more to ship than the Ebay discounted shipping, however, when you get a free $50 Shyp shipping credit, you should just use that for up to $50 in shipments and then switch back to your normal Ebay shipping setup. The Shyp credit is just something to use until you've used up your shipping credit. Using Shyp long-term is only good for people who are either too busy or too lazy to take their packages down to the Post Office/UPS store.

here is the part of the site where it states discounted amounts, shipping rate discounts start at 20+ packages per month
Shyp [shyp.com]

I am wondering though, for the pickup fee, is it a per pickup or per package fee?

The pickup fee is per pickup, not per package, and this credit applies to those pickup fees (although earlier today, I thought it didn't).

The discount you're referencing for frequent shippers doesn't apply to this promotion at all. That's for people who are planning on using Shyp long-term. For this promotion, you don't have to ship 20 packages a month, you just get $50 in credit toward packaging, pick up, and shipping, and can use it on any number of shipments, even just one $50 shipment. There is no minumum. Why did you bring up the 20 package minimum for discounts if it doesn't apply to this deal?

This applies to their pickup service. You cannot print out your own shipping labels. I did discover, though, that this promotional credit does apply toward paying the $4.50 fee for the pickup, whereas earlier today, I mistakenly thought it didn't apply toward that, but I re-read the offer terms and the pickup fees are covered by the shipping credit.

So...
I created an account, linked my eBay account, and redeemed the code. If I sell something, I have to be in a city they operate in? If I'm not, there is no way I can use the credit to pay for usps/ups shipping labels?

I just used the service and the credit is applying when creating my own labels. The pick-up service is not available in my area.
