This laptop has a 2 core processor. The I3-1125G4 is the processor everyone wants. It has 4 cores and matches the similar I5 chip in performance, with slightly less graphics capability.

You are incorrect about the RAM. This has 8GB on board and one open slot for up to 16GB module for a total possible 24GB. I know because I bought it two months ago and upgraded to 24GB with this stick of RAM [newegg.com].

A word of advice: don't upgrade to Windows 11 -- they haven't worked out all the kinks yet.

Ahh thank you for that! That's why that target deal was so good.
My guess is this ASUS deal is fine, just not a killer deal without the I3-1125G4?

If you're desperate just put a chrome tab in the background with a auto-refresh extension and take a look throughout the day and have the target app on your phone and refresh there. I saw 5 restock in a single day and brought 2 on the 5th this month and never got a single email notification of stocks until days later.

i3-1115G4 Passmark score according to cpubenchmark.net if anyone is wondering is 6349.

To put that into perspective… its exactly the same as an i7 3770 which is an older third gen ivy bridge desktop cpu. Not a terrible processor. And it's gonna have modern instruction sets to run virtual backgrounds just fine for zoom and play 4k videos no problem but don't expect to do main stream video editing or graphic or cpu intensive tasks with this system

If your needing a cheap laptop… and this is the only option and your doing word processing and gonna have open maybe 5-10 chrome tabs this is fine.

If your looking to do twitch streaming. You need to set your sights much much higher than this lol

Pretty good for the price it has a fingerprint sensor and backlit keyboard which the target one did not have plus it has a 1080P display the target one did not, memory is upgradable to 20GB, 8GB is soldered and one slot for up to 16GB module. You can also add in a 2.5" SATA drive in the open bay, Overall for the price seems solid.
