This is a 60hz TV. You want the QM6K for 144hz. And as far as the google TV, you can always just use a ROKU or whatever, you don't have to use the Google TV.

We are still watching a 16 year old 52 inch 720p panasonic plasma (awesome tv) but we just picked this up from BJ's. Still in the box until we remodel our living room, but I expect it to be amazing.
