Try a hair dryer next time, warm up the label for about 30 seconds and it should come right off. I use one when removing labels from cardboard boxes and it works every time.

Bought the aluminum one few years ago. The top tray is really handy for screws, nails and hand tools. Yes, the narrow lower rungs hurt if you are standing on them to long.
