Mileage restriction is a killer...FWIW I usually just head to Costco Travel...go with the cheapest local office of Avis/Budget, which have the most flexibility...show up early to pick up and be NICE...

Just book Sat-Mon, or fri-sun you will get the same $10 per day promo rate and wont have to pay for the unused day. ANY weekend days work, some locations are closed on sunday.
