Late 80s/early 90s. Down on his luck magician. Tent scene, etc. IIRC the ending is a tragic scene in which the assistant floats or disappears. Twlight Zoneish type TV. What say you SlickDeals?

Doesn't ring a bell might want to check Night Gallery too, it was the 1970s but IIRC they re-aired them in the 80s or 90s.
