From what I heard, no. The 2020 is a very good starter mic and this is a really good deal on probably someone's first XLR LDC. All other things being equal, the 2020 is likely significantly better....

It can be done - as noted earlier you're going to need to provide phantom power to the mic (around $20 for a box to do that) then you'll have to adapt the XLR to the Tascam's input.
