It's certainly been a minute since I put some time into reviewing laptop build qualities. Has MSI gone down a few points in that category since early 2016? What are some of the common issues...

Lol 960M. Unless the processor is like a 7700K, this laptop should be below $400.

No SSD, 960M last gen Maxwell architecture, TN display... meh not a deal. I'd pay $600 AT MOST for this junk. Plus, MSI isn't known for quality builds. They are a third world Taiwanese company that...

One more thing to note is that GTX 960M is also just 2 GB, not 4 GB as on most GTX 960 laptops

Pulled the trigger on this when the deal was still alive, and honestly not sure why it wasn't any more popular than it was. I7-7700HQ in a 17.3in 1080p with a sufficient 8gb DDR4 and a dedicated...

You're not gonna get a 7700k laptop for 1000 buck, especially not in this chassis. Try again.

LOL a computer not from Taiwan. Are you using a Chassis Plans or a Raspberry Pi?

One thing you overlook is that laptops like these are in an outlier market. Real gamers use a PC to get the best experience. You can set up a "trash" PC and it's going to give you a much better...

Nope, there are some that cone with 7700K, but very expensive, and besides the point. 960M is a bad GPU at this price.

Post #100975268 added 06-11-2017 7:18 PM by CyberDemon7 in Deal Talk
I agree with the negative posts, this is not worth $700 and your'e going to get a laptop that's not good in terms of build quality. Most likely the battery time will be garbage so you'll have to run...

Ouch, you got caught by Intel's subtlety. 7700HQ is miles behind the 7700K (desktop-tier).
