The eneloop pros are black tops. But if it's LSD and made in Japan then it came from the same factory as eneloops.

IMO, if you have more than a few AAA / AA cells, you should invest in an 'Analyzer / Charger'. While all the cells you buy 'may' be balanced when you start using them, eventually one (or more)...

No. Solar pathway lights usually come with NiCd cells because NiCd cells don't get damaged when they're discharged past 0.9VDC.

reorder doesn't get you the "exact" same product. things undergo changes while staying the same all the time. so it's probably the same battery but now using a different wrapper.

What does the batteries say? Eneloop pros use black tops. So the color doesn't indicate eneloops anymore. Just LSD and made in japan.

The high capacity eneloop pros have fewer charge cycles (~500 total) and are more expensive. Most people consider them useful for niche applications.
