the WD Blue is a tweaked Sandisk X400 about the same wty but WD rates if for 400TBW lifetime, PS Frys will have it for $125 Sat morning

I have the slightly older version of the Toshiba 5tb. They are fairly reliable but be warned that they are not the quietest drive in the world.

I've been eyeing the 5tb Toshiba. B&H's regular price seems to be $146 and it's no tax for me. Any ideas on the cheapest the 5tb has been?

I have 3 of these 5TBs drives in my home server. I paid 140 for each back then and it was a pretty good deal. Not sure if theyve gone for less since then.

I have 3tb version that just got click of death issue. You can find tons of videos on it and Toshiba drives seem to develop this problem just after warranty is out. You be the judge, but no more...
