Just tested mine, it outputs audio just fine through the mini HDMI port. No high def videos to test but it pushed 1080p 60fps youtube just fine.

The users manual states 32g max. Reviews say it works good new from the store but problems rise from all the windows updates choking the nominal capabilities. The updates can't be turned off.

I got a couple of these about a year ago from a similar deal. They are perfectly fine. With some chicanery, you can even install Ubuntu on one and make it a dual-boot computer.
