It is extremely difficult to get it of once it is stuck on. That is one of the downside of this cam. Not sure why they decided to use 3M instead of a suction cup.

These are easily removable when you are parked. Takes all but 5 seconds to do that and put it out of sight. This is a great price for this dashcam.
