Lowes 2-pack 18.6LB is (slightly) a better deal. Walmart and Lowes are in the same shopping center for me so that doesnt really mean much to me.

Kind of. KBB has 20% limestone and an accelerant. So there's 20% more fuel in a briquette of Pro. And it will take a little bit more energy to get it burning.

Kingsford Pro has no filler, so it will make less ash and burn hotter. More like lump. Contains wood char, cornstarch (binder) and borax (release agent).

Ok thanks! Does that mean it uses less briquets to heat up since it's hotter? I'll probably just get the deal you posted since I saw them at my Walmart Neighborhood Market that is 3 minutes away.
