No, the monitor itself is 144hz. Freesync is a different spec made for syncing up GPU and monitor refresh rates.

Both are true 10 bit monitors if you have a 10 but workflow. The difference is that the photo oriented monitor has an Adobe RGB profile build in and a hood. I believe it also has a 3d LUT capability...

Damn dude sorry to hear that. The same shit happened to me with a 27 inch Westinghouse monitor. It worked fine for a few years but eventually it just started turning off randomly during usage

Yeah it sounds like the color space of the monitors are different and that these just don't have the color accuracy that I am looking for so I'm going to keep looking.
