10bit panel is required for high gamut. This is a vanilla ips panel, which means it will not actually be able to display high gamut content from the incoming 4k blurays. To clarify, the panel...

Anyone had experience to use it with Microsoft surface pro? Thanks

Would this work well for the new Xbox one x with free-sync? Or does this monitor only support free-sync over DisplayPort?

Definitely. If I hadn't spent the last eight hours playing in a yahtzee tournament, I'd be all over this.

I just bought a Dell P2415Q yesterday for $400. Should I be regretting that decision?

For this price, I think so. Its IPS, only other 4k monitors at this price are TN

This is an excellent monitor for MacBook users. It's like a giant Retina display. When you connect it, make sure it's scaled at 1080p (HiDPI mode). It was automatic for me. Colors are great. I have...

Color accuracy is whack on this particular model

I don't understand the scaling issues. Does windows 10 automatically scale it for you? I plugged it in and the text is sightly smaller than 1080p most of the time. I think the only occurrence where...

I don't think this supports HDR so you would be missing out on that (arguably more important than 4K) feature.

Display scaling works seamlessly on Windows 10 for me... *shrug* Your point is good, though. Sitting at a desk trying to read 4k on a 24" screen is awful, but scaling everything up to 200% makes...

Omg yes. I can't stand that option.

You buy the tech for your needs, you're only not teching right if you hold some biased view, there definitely is a palatable difference when you combine 1ms+144hz+ freesync/gsync, not just 1ms vs 4ms...

Cant you just change display settings to 1980 x 1080 or lower and on game settings set it to 4k??

But a 240hz (and 120 and 60 for that matter) TV is simply using motion interpolation on source footage that's 24fps. That "surreal smoothness" is the TV generating intermediate frames. Which is imo...

200% scaling. Everything is the same size as 1080p, just twice as clear.

Windows does scale pretty poorly. Agreed you'd have to be nuts to run this at 4k without using at least 150% enlargement settings.

Would this be a practical 4k monitor to use with the Xbox one X?

People don't understand panel technologies. I want a 1ms ips 144hz. Simply doesn't exist. IPS has a lowest threshold of 4ms. TN is 1ms. You sacrifice color and depth going with TN. If you think 1ms...

I hooked mine up to a PS4 pro and it looks great, I also have a KS8000 and it compares very well despite being $800 cheaper.

The description says it's UHD and the specifications say it's 10-bit (8-bit + A-FRC). Is that not true?

VESA mountable, but the rear facing ports may interfere with some monitor mounts. Great deal OP. If I didn't pick up the Dell Ultrasharp deal from Wal-Mart, I would have seriously considered this.

I only play Multiplayer, specifically Gears of War 4. So, unless the Multiplayer has HDR, I don't really much care for it. Also, it's only a 24" screen, that's why I have a 75 inch 4k to enjoy HDR...

Is it really worth to buy a 4K monitor if we can't leverage it to 4K native resolution ?

3840X2160 on 24" is not practical. You can't see anything on the screen. So you have to scale it to a workable resolution. The best option is to scale it to 1920X1080 in "HiDPI mode". The monitor has...

The Dell has a much nicer stand. You can adjust it however you like. If you don't care about that, just get the LG.

Why is this front page now? Anyways, I received mine yesterday. No dead pixels that I can see and LG was generous enough to give a display port AND an HDMI cable. It's a bit too short for me (3ft?)...
