Had this trash can for about 6 month now. Batteries are still going strong. My only issue with this trashcan is, that the sensor is pretty bad. You need to pretty much touch it for it to work....

My Costco one goes thru a set of AAs about once a month. Drives me crazy.

That AbirM guy sounds like a troll, probably because he's a frustrated virgin. Don't mind him, you were just trying to help by pointing out the product doesn't have good reviews.

I'd recommend getting this if you're not sure about buying it. I've had it for about 6 months and it still work perfectly fine and it's still using the first set of batteries. These use D batteries,...

I agree. Bought it from the eBay deal and that was almost 3 years ago. Over changed the battery just once. And it does have a sensor and the plastic lining works just fine

I use this for my kitchen and random garbage and have had no problem with it. Never rips and stays in place. If you say the metal was easy to bend I would agree with you but other than that this...

I bought one of these off eBay six months ago and it has lived up to all of my expectations. It is a five star product in my book. I'm still on the original batteries I bought for it too. Not sure...

These suck batteries if you use it more than once per day. They work great but should have a DC adapter. For a family of 4, batteries were replaced once a month. I hard wired a DC adapter and...

Bought one for my mom. For eBay $35 everyday price, go for it.

Just got mine. So far so good! There's some plastic shrink wrap around certain parts of the trashcan, including the sensor area... be sure to remove this plastic! The sensor is in a good spot...

Mine also broke. Thought it was just out of batteries, but it's odd in that won't open most of the times.... Then random day it works fine.

Seems like a garbage deal. Reviews seem to lean toward if you have an issue, you are stuck with the product and the company is MIA. No thanks!

I've had one of these for about a year, from urlhasbeenblocked, and it has worked flawlessly. We probably use it 20 times a day, and are still on the original set of batteries.

Bought this a year ago. Works perfectly as our main kitchen trash. Haven't ever replaced batteries. A+ from my side.

Really the only thing wrong with this trash can is my inability to walk to any *other* trash can ever again and remember I need to open it. My mom bought one of these for my husband and I probably...

Got mine a week ago it takes D batteries. Works well! I like it . but I really do not see an advantage over a stepcan model? More things that can go wrong/break. I also have a simple human stepcan...

I have had a different model of this for years. The only problem I have found is that I stand in front of other peoples trash cans with my hand out, waiting for it to open .. :)
Post #102287724 added 07-12-2017 9:38 PM by Steve1280 in Deal Talk
I have issues with these trash cans since they run out of batteries real quick if you are not careful. Overall the issues are with the lid being thin and the sensor which will continue to try to open...

After running on D batteries for a while, I got this AC adapter from Amazon for mine and it works great. It was around $7.
