Bahh a month ago I flew lax-Tokyo for $600 12 hours flight
$150 is not worth the extra 8+ hours

Some people genuinely don't feel that way. I agree with you which is why I fly in to Haneda if I can, plus there are usually good prices there for some reason. Much closer to the city and less hassle...

We flew AC - SEA-YYV-NRT and the last leg was like 8 hrs or so.....it wasnt bad actually and AC service was really good.....way better than UA.

That is Nagoya castle. They do all kind of roll into one though after a while. At least there where things to see inside of Nagoya castle, Himeji was just climbing 7 floors of incredibly steep stairs...
