Sure you can follow the legal route if you have time to invest. I just got burned and will not be buying electronics from them.

I've updated the price to $142 and will mention possible tax.

Panasonic.. If you google you will see many other brands like EVGA, parrot, citizen, nikon , corsair not listing jet.com as authorized retailer.

Nah. Trying to avoid Jet. Repeated bad experience too with them specially with electronics. They rely too much with third parties with no performance control in terms of third party support.

And I would promptly have a legal issue with said company who did not honor the warranty. That's just an excuse NOT to honor a warranty. Jet has shipped a few products to me without issue at all....

I got luck I guess.. Got stuff from Jet actually shipped by Newegg. Anyways.. are MX300 any good? Intend to use it as a secondary SSD storing games and some of my photos for editing.

When I posted it they had a 2nd, slightly cheaper listing for the 850 EVO (I think it was 158.95). Also, I'm in one of the states Jet doesn't charge tax in.

For anyone who cares, I've put together about a dozen or so purpose-built machines at work in the past month or so mainly for use in architectural design. I used the 960 PRO 512GB in all of them and...

I needed a SSD and couldn't find any deals anywhere at all. So because it's torture to go withou t a SSD I needed one and decided to go cheap and get the 850 256GB Pro for $117 because they butchered...

RAM and SSD prices have been creeping up since at least the start of 2017. They will sadly keep creeping up for the rest of the year it seems and general consensus is early next year prices might...

Crucial is good enough, people would be hard pressed to tell the difference between a 2 year old SSD than the fastest M2 850 Pro, those that say there's a big difference is lying. M2's are stupid...
Post #102833048 added 07-26-2017 8:28 AM by PLuch in Deal Talk
I've updated the title and original post with the higher price. When I posted this there was a 2nd listing for the 850 EVO that was about $10 cheaper, plus Jet doesn't charge tax in my state.

EVGA doesn't deny warranty for that, as they have transferable warranties. You may not be eligible to purchase an extended warranty or use their Step-Up program, depending on where the product...

Normally I'm not sure how much of a real-world difference you would notice, but using it as a media/game server might stress the SSD more (although the actual media is on a HDD). Anandtech lists the...

From reading a couple reviews they seem to be almost, but not quite as good as the 850 EVO, but better than the Mushkin Reactor and SanDisk X300/X400.

I just received the 500GB Samsung 850 SSD. The model number is 75E500B/EU and from what I've read Samsung USA will not honor the warranty on these units. Did others receive the non-USA model?
