I have the the previous model (34" ultrasharp) and even so the quality of the monitor is quite good, I dislike the ultrawide dimensions. Vertically there is too little space and horizontally there...

I have both Dell 34" curved and this 38" dell curved monitor. For me I think the 38" is well worth the extra cost over the 34". It is not that much larger physically, but the extra resolution is...

So this is basically a 4k monitor with approximately one horizontal quarter chopped off. I like the form factor, mainly because using 4k native as desktop feels too tall. Probably has something to...

The KVM feature is one of the things I really like about my Dell U3415W. I have a work laptop and home desktop setup as well.

I had the same question recently when I bought the Acer 34". I have no opinion - rather, the $500 difference led my getting the 34" and I just hope I'll not regret that.

Pixel density is about the same for 27 1440p, 34inch Wide, and this 38 inch wide. 4k is great but i got turned off by windows dpi scaling. The widescreen format has sealed the deal for me. ...

I have a 34" Asus ultrawide. I wish it was bigger. Also, don't get this Dell monitor for gaming. It only does 60hz. Not worth it. No matter how much bigger it is.

Gotta agree with those complaining about 60 Hz. I have Dell Ultrasharps and the gaming performance disgusts me. I don't understand what Dell's thinking. I wouldn't pay more than 500 for 60 Hz. no...

agreed. Acer is a much better deal.A high end display like this should not be limited to 60Hz unless its a bandwidth limitation. Dell is just being lazy or not willing to spend the additional money...

This isn't a monitor targeted at gamers, it's targeted and professionals or business users. Though 120hz+ is a nice thing to have, I don't consider it a downside for this monitor.

Interested in this but I have 2 U2415's that are used mainly for work (programming) and photo editing. How would the various 34" and 38" options compare?

What I'm saying is it's about 10% larger and has 10% more pixels, so the pixel density isn't greater. Probably a similar/same panel just a larger section.
