No a 60v battery won't work, they do make larger capacity 20v batteries so that you can work longer though.

We used ours yesterday... 20v works great. We were using a heavy AC sear 22" trimmer. This is every bit as good, light weight with 1.5ah battery, and no hassling with extension cord. A winner!

My trimmer had a missing screw for the handle and did not have the blade guard. I called support and they shipped them out. Took about 5 days to get here.
