At least in the past, this was manufactured from mine tailings (waste) that had high levels of arsenic as well as several other potentially toxic contaminants. Someone mentioned a "new formulation"...

At least at my Wal-Mart (Morrisville, NC), they are clearing out a lot of fertilizer: - Halts with Scotts Fertilizer - 7500 sq ft for $13 (and their generic equivalent for $11) - Generic Weed...

No, those numbers reflect nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Your not using this product for that, your using it for its iron content. Still, I prefer milorganite.

People don't use Ironite for its N-P-K value. Then again, people who know better don't use Ironite for the iron either as it's not an effective form of iron.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought some 5000 sq ft scotts southern lawn food and weed and feed for $4 & $5 respectively from Brier Creek Walmart last year. So I am hoping to see those prices.
