not for everyone. Both have their place in the market. Intel still dominates in single core performance, so any application that prioritizes that over more cores will run faster on an intel chip....

No. Even with threadripper (16 cores) it is showing on many benchmarks ran on windows 10 to be much more effect that other ones with less cores.
