Better hardware internally, too. The B could be left out of future feature updates. C-E-G are supposed to be different, better hardware internally, though the panels are the same.

Ah, I thought the 2017 Bs were the same. I wish LG would stop screwing with the HDR. They had it really great and their newer firmware actually makes it look WORSE. Very irritating.

i got the b7a from target, it does have atmos. Not sure what the difference is but I can say the sound (coming out of my stereo setup) is noticeably better with this tv than my old LG

Nope. Though if your state has sales tax you almost certainly are legally expected to pay it yourself when you file your state income tax (it's usually called use tax)
