I use as many jack stands as possible plus a jack that has most tension relieved. So if raising the rear end of a car I usually have 4 jack stands and a jack (front wheels chocked).

Always. When a tire comes off (unless you are just rotating them), that tire lives laying down underneath the car until the job is done. Better new tires & rims than dead!

Not the highest quality, but they work fine for holding my trailers off the ground during the winter. I don’t think I would put them under any sort of major strain on a consistent basis.
