Might be better off buying it from a b&M walmart that has it in stock at any price in case they tell you to get your price adjusted with a central csr rep instead, but yes I've used that very trick...

the no sheath was almost a deal breaker for me but I checked the closest counterpart on amazon with a sheath was the Gerber one for $4 more......but reading the reviews on the gerber made me cringed...

It's pretty good. Not as high quality as their loppers and shears and the like, where a plastic handle isn't as critical on a slower moving hinged tool, vs. a faster violent action. A lot more wear...
