I just got a 1080p 27" and it was blurry as fark, pixel density was straight ass I returned it the next day. I can't even imagine how awful it would be on 34".

Freesync only usable on AMD, G-Sync on NVIDIA Gtx. G-Sync always has a $200-300+ mark up

Really want to jump on this deal, though I'm uneasy at the screen resolution. Anyone have experience with ultrawide monitors at 1080p?

Why is this so expensive at 1080p? No way I would spend that amount for 1080p version.

I have the model before this (34UC79G-B) and the image on it is fantastic. I don't even notice the resolution but I'm able to hit 100+ FPS on most titles.

1080p is on its way out for PC monitors, especially for this price. Way overpriced for a 1080p ultrawide.

The monitor would definitely be usable. You just don't get any adaptive sync.

I aggree that this isn't worth the price when compared to the Freesync version. However, many people aren't doing their research when it comes to these things. The freesync version max brightness...

Nice deal. But still this is over $200 more expensive than the freesync version. With the same price I could get a nice WQHD with freesync. That's exactly why I sold my GTX 1080 when I saw price of...

It's the G-sync tax. The freesync model can be found for around $500, maybe less.
