I use these with a HDHomerun cable card model. I haven't paid for cable TV boxes in years. Windows 10 will run WMC if you need a recording option, you can download it all over the internet.

The slim version is also on sale for $309. The slim only takes m.2 ssd drives while the tall will handle 2.5” ssd. I have the slim version and it’s fantastic!

if youre using this mainly as a plex client just get a nvidia shield. plays 4k content easily. you can also root it and disable ads on youtube, etc
