I have 4 of these. Not the best of the RX line, not the worst. The cooler is slightly better then the OEM cooler and the chip quality is about 'par' for the course.

Can you share the BIOS? I have exact same problem on this card? It revs up to 100% fan before crash. It is way hotter than Gaming card.

Reason these die on you is that the memory isn't covered with a heat sink on this model. Mod it or run away. Going to be the same for the 580 that was 210 the other day.

Definitely cheaper and lighter cooler compared to gaming X series. However, I wouldn't say they're lower binned. The cost savings are in the cooler and probably VRM and other circuitry components.
