Yes, on that time, it was on MPP and the coupon was not valid. It was working for the normal Dell Home with base price of $900, hence final price of $850.

I missed out on the military deal a few days ago because dell could not get my veterans status cleared up.
Post #107746499 added 11-21-2017 8:57 PM by Suryasis in Deal Talk
That is the price. You have to use the coupon 50OFF699 to get the price as described in the OP.

I recently ordered the Acer nitro 5 with i5 7th gen, 16gb, 1050 ti 4gb from Bj's for $700.. shall i consider this deal over that?

Good deal. The military discount now only takes 10% off instead of 15% so it would be $795 today. You got it at the right time. Thank you for your service. Happy Thanksgiving!
Post #107736099 added 11-21-2017 6:29 PM by iCEifer in Deal Talk
I would. The Dell is probably better built, better cooling, etc...and of course the 1060 6GB is great compared to the 1050 TI. If you can spend an extra $130 I'd go for it.

Ahh, just figured it out. It's near the top where it says 'switch to member's purchase program cart'. Can someone confirm this won't prohibit me from getting my 10% from e-bates?

From the speed, it looks like a SATA III SSD. And As per my knowledge, this 7000 series below $1000, comes with SATA III M.2 SSD, not NVMe. Are you sure to have a NVMe SSD, not a SATA III one?

I also purchased the 256GB SSD version and can confirm that I also have the Toshiba drive. I get around 300-360MB/s Write speeds. Disco if you get an answer from Dell please let me know as I may have...

Definitely a NVMe SSD. It getting ~2750 MB/s sequential Q32T1 read (~2150 MB/s regular sequential read). The ~350 MB/s sequential write is not consistent, as it does get 1000+ MB/s on occasion, like...

If it's good enough to handle gaming, it chews through Photoshop. I've 2 year old 960m version of this same laptop and it still handles 4k editing with ease.

No stacking, but military discount worked on the one I mentioned but not OP one.
Post #107767351 added 11-22-2017 5:53 AM by autosaver in Deal Talk
The one posted yesterday was TI. 1050TI is the minimum to support VR, but even then it’s not guaranteed to work. This current deal is ok. I’m hoping for an actual Black Friday/cyber Monday deal.
