This is much better. The RF II is Klipsch's 2010 Reference line (highest end), which is comparable to the current RP (Reference Premiere) line The current Reference line (R25, etc) is lower end.

I too had the Synergy 3s (8inch woofer) for years. These are much more powerful in the low end, and the highs are nowhere near as sharp / piercing. Pretty refined.
