Yes, that is what I said. If you see white, its a VA panel. Otherwise its IPS. Maybe you have a bad screen, I dont have any issues with one side being dimmer than the other. I dont notice the...

Hmm, I need to research that a bit more. The x4 inputs is neat, but limited to 30fps refresh. I don't think I'd personally have much use for them personally. Looks more matte which is a plus. USB...

Specs say HDMI is limited to 30fps, you use DP to get 60 but there's only 1 DP jack. So a 4 "screen" setup would, I think, suffer from blur when scrolling or moving the mouse fast. And yeah, I'm...

Thanks for posting. I'm looking for something like this, but perhaps maybe better wording would be "can *also* be used as a monitor." Cuz I personally would never consider 40" a true monitor...

Supposedly the Samsung 43 MU6300(and probably the 6290) has an IPS panel. Though who knows if that could change. The 43" is supposedly the only TV in the Samsung MU6xx0 range that has an IPS panel. ...

Not quite as cheap, but the LG 43UD79-B is at costco.com (today is the last day) for $550, or if you have a coupon $525. Viewing angles are probably worse than the Sony 720E though.

I’d stay away from the Samsung 6290/6300 if you are sensitive to flicker at all. Uses a low 120hz PWM. I didn’t think I’d care, bought the 40” 6290 from Costco and got mild eye/head ache after a...

TV's are not computer monitors. Do you like yours eyes moving up and down constantly due to screen height, or do you only use 2/3 of the screen?. Buy an ultrawide monitor and thank yourself later!
