I have heard good things about the TCL, for that price, it is a no brainer. Do not expect the quality of a $1,000 TV though.

Target will usually price match for two weeks. You may make it in time. One caveat are clearance goods. Sometimes they will price match other times they make you return and buy again.

yes, mine is mounted right next to my Vizio P50 FALD 4K refurb so I can clearly tell the difference in back lighting. Those tweaks really brought out the color and blacks but nothing like Dolby...

Such a gimmick. They dis-allowed online sales and discouraged in-store sales by showing "limited stock" yesterday with the 15% Cyber Monday code. And my store which said "limited stock" yesterday...

I believe the rtings review and calibrations were for the 43" model. Seems like there's big differences between the 43" and the other models/sizes in the S line.

It is a $300 entry level TV, of course it is not going to have great HDR. You need to adjust your expectations to those of a $300 TV or open up your purse and spend more.
