The good stuff (godiva etc) obviously tastes 'better'. I have had it (actually have some godiva ganache hearts atm). But, to me, chocolate is consumed and regarded the same, regardless of 'quality'....

It's Macys. If it's old or expired, just go back for an exchange/refund. To me Godiva is decent quality. Would not touch Hershey/Cadbury etc. - not worth the calories.

The comments at Macy's review mention that the expiration date is on the wrapping of the chocolate bars, and a lot of people got bad chocolate, close or already expired.
