Not really, the Acer Nitro 5 recently sold on Newegg for a similar price (albeit refurbished) weighs about the same. Similar specs as well. Don't expect some high end specs for a new budget laptop,...

Also not VR ready. 7th Gen Core i5, Thick bezel 5.64 lbs! Super heavy!! It seems all DELL Inspiron series are much heavier than most of other brands.
