No issues so far. I've been using it for 3 days now. It brought up the humidity in master bedroom from 10 to 27%. No white residue either but I'm using distilled water.

I’ve had this for a year and have had 0 problems. Use it alot during the winter to combat dry heat from forced air vents. Works great. I use tap water and have had no problems.

If this was top load, I'd be all over it. Got tired of bottom load humidifiers. Tanks normally cracks less than a year and with bottom load it leaks/spills easily specially if you want to load again...
