Screw you for calling me a parrot and saying that people who's hard drives fail are computer illiterate. I don't give a rat about backblaze, although, if that information is out there, it's probably...

Damn, sorry to hear about that. I can definitely relate to that (I'm not sure if I will ever buy an ATI - now AMD - card again). I heard that certain production runs / models were abnormally...

Over the past 2 decades, I've had a dozen Seagates fail and zero WD or HGST drives fail. Majority of failed Seagates were 1TB and 2TB drives of the last 7-years. Some are not completely failed,...

I'll answer my own question, it actually does have lag when playing games and such when stored on the HD instead of the native storage. But it's 4TB so I don't see myself using up all that storage...

Where did you find that these are SMR? I saw 2 Best Buy customer reviews mentioning it, but didn't see it in any official spec. Other than slow rewrite speed, is there any other major drawback to...

i have lots of drives.. and i gave up on 4tb a few years back.. once your digital data grows you don't go down in size.. same reason i don't buy flash drives smaller than 64 gb.
