Because this is a 15.6" ultrabook that only 3.7 lbs. If you want a better GPU, go look at gaming laptop that's 5-6" lbs.

mainly because it is eighth generation intel core processor which for many people is twice as good as a "comparable" seventh generation intel core processor.

Not bad, good price overall, but I like the Lenovo 2-1 with similar internals, but 16gb ram, NVMe SSD, and 4k screen from costco at $999 bit better. The 4K display is nice. But if you don’t care too...
