I find the edgerouters to be about 100x easier to work with than the USG. Maybe it's familiarity with them idk but I do not see ways to easily manage the USG like the edge line.

Yes. Be aware that it is strictly 24v PoE and will not run 48v PoE APs (i.e. UAP-AC-PRO). Plain UAP-AC-LITE and UAP-AC-LR will work with this. Otherwise you'll need 48v poe injectors.

you set that up under configuration and what each port does. eth0/eth1 etc. by DeFalt its not set up that way.
