FWIW, my 7SGYD*** that someone else in the Wiki says is a confirmed red, is a white WD80EMAZ according to CrystalDiskInfo. Looks like first 5-digits isn't enough of the S/N to determine red vs white.

i got 2 - 256mb cache white drives. put them in a terramaster F2-220 in raid 1 and they work great so far. very quick transfer rates and nothing special had to be done as far as the power issues...

Shucked two Thailand drives, both ZZ's, and both had no issues mounting connected to my regular sata/power. 8TB mirrored storage. I can store all of my VR... text files.. for a while.
