Works great as usb media player as well as a regular disk player. Only one thing I can't get to work is Atmos audio. Worth the $50 I paid.

Nah. The 970 is the one that's (supposedly) firmware upgradable to DV. Bare bones player. If all you want to do is play a HDR UHD disc, this is for you. I already purchased the Philips LG7501...
