For everyday paper towel use these are solid. Not ultra absorbent like viva or bounty but I'm using it as a napkin with dinner, not for drying off after a shower!

I don't believe so. You can cancel subscription after item has shipped. Obviously, does require action be taken at a later date. Wasn't sure if you were aware of this option.
