The range is 1000-1500 (for the 55) and 1500-2500 (for the 65) . No LED's touch the OLED in that range.

Sony 900E is a very good TV, can produced 1000+ high peak brightness but that's about it, its a must to watch in front , side viewing would considerably degrade picture quality, android interface...
