Sears sold of Craftsman Tools to Stanley Black and Decker, so you should not have to worry about the lifetime warranty. Craftsman tools are also going to be sold in Lowe`s stores sometime this year.

They do have the lifetime warranty, it's on the front of the box. As far as the piece count- couldn't agree more. The nut drivers are useful, but for a basic set a 50pc bit set is just filler
