Youtube review of the drive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG3he44TL2k Basically it's a slower drive than the 860 EVO. (325/327 read/write on the Micron vs. 457/334 read write on the EVO)

No. It came as a bare drive in a white box.

Great! Just wondering, did yours arrive sealed in an anti-static bag?

Thanks.. I got it to show up once I put it into my PC. I was using eSATA and it seems the tool doesn't like the eSATA interface. Mine is obviously brand new unused... Performance is not that great...

Micron Storage Executive. It should show up. If it doesn't, that would be a red flag there. Perhaps, uninstall, reinstall to make sure the software is functioning correctly. Otherwise, I would be...

Which tool did you use to test? I installed Micron Storage Executive but the drive is not showing up. When I use CrystalDiskInfo it says poweron count = 1. Thanks.

I can appreciate that! As expected, the drive is full of writes and erases. The drive is used. Back it goes... Thank you!

When prices are high, people complain bitterly. When prices are low, people question why it is being discounted so heavily. So what does it take to make you happy?

You should be able to hook these up to a computer as a slave drive and use the Crucial test tools downloadable on their website. Check for write cycles. My guess is IF they are authentic and they...

That would have been helpful in your original post. That said, bar codes are worthless to end users. So without at least a UPC, who knows where these actually came from or their authenticity. But...

I was making a statement of what authentic looks like. If yours differs then so be it. Use your judgement. I did not purchase one of these but figured I'd offer some knowledge on them since I use...

I'm sure you do. That has nothing to do with this. These do not come in anti-static bags, no UPCs, no way to know where it came from. What's worse, it appears these will not be warranted by Micron,...

My company buys these in bulk. They come in static bags with no UPC, but with a barcode serial number, model number, etc on the drive label itself.

I've purchased plenty of OEM hardware. Everything has to have a UPC in this country or it's likely counterfeit!

This isn't a retail drive so that's likely why. These are typically just for OEMs.

Got my drive today, came in a bubblewrap mailer in a white unlabeled box. No manual just the drive itself.
