I've done it before with the gifted prime, have it delivered the day after your prime expires and it works fine. I can't imagine that changing, a bunch of us did this when it jumped from $79 to $99...

Not worth it for me. I might order a half a dozen times a year from Amazon, and many of those orders already get free shipping.

Let's see, in 1 year I probably watched a dozen or so movies, maybe half a dozen seasons of various shows and made maybe 50 purchases.
Even at $120/year, it's still worth it for me.

Amazon said that that will just be considered a $99 GC so in order to enroll in prime, you will still have to front the extra $20.
