That would be cutting it close. 1070TI is a bit power hungry. I'm using a similar PSU in an HTPC with a 1060 and it's perfect. Scale back the graphics to a 1070 or 1060 you'd be fine.

That is green labeled old model, no good. I suggest you grab this deal and replace it, especially with such old unit.

I won’t buy this, 1070ti or to 1080 level can draw 230 easily and peak can be around 300, not to mention CPU and other components. 550 good quality is recommended.

Really, you have no idea, bro. The caps used in CX430 is cheap and can not stand good amount of load or heat. One of my friend's caught on fire in the end, I will spend the 20.

Ryzen loves faster ram, so 3200 is recommended. 2x8 Gb in the same pack is pretty enough for any normal usage. What is your major usage? Budget on RAM + PSU? Any ideas on case/SSD/HDD/Motherboard?

the ryzen will outperform the i5 in multi threaded applications. for gaming, I would just get an i7 8700k for around $300~ and overclock it.. it doesn't cost a whole lot more than the ryzen 1700...

I think he may be confusing it with the older CS450 or CX430 model. Those have been FAR multiple times in the past from Tigerdirect when bundled with McAfee. I only ever remember seeing two FAR...
