Battery run times for mowers hover around 45-60 minutes (then 45-60 min recharge time). I doubt you could do much more than 1/2 to 2/3 an acre on a charge. Besides the recharge time, it won't be...

gas is a thing of the past, unless you have a 1/3 or 1/2 acre yard, which in that case I would get a riding mower.

Yeah the lead acid batteries are cheap, and reliable. The lithium batteries are very expensive and lifespan varies greatly, but you'd probably be lucky to get a couple years out of it. No it's...

Anyone know of a good electric that could handle...2 acres? Or am I honestly better off going with gas? I've got a steep hill in one area, so unsure if a riding lawn mower makes sense.
