Steamworld dig 2 is the most fun I've had on my switch besides mario odyssey. It's a must play

Of the three Steamworld games, I think my preference order is Dig 1, Dig 2, & Heist. That said, they're all fun games and well worth the price.

It's $10 every day on PC. Annoying that the switch versions are always priced a little higher. Yeah portability, I get it... It's a really good shooter.

Would’ve been a good thought before you bought a Switch.

I haven't played 1 or heist but I enjoyed 2 a lot.

I find I just leave the Swtich docked and play the 3DS while laying in bed or out in the hammock and camping. Any compelling reasons to get Dig 2 on either one? I'd like it but only want one copy.
lol I paid $30. I’m a sucker for physical.

The game is a broken unfinished mess last time I played it on the vita. I'd suggest you look at some gameplay and decide if you wanna throw money at it.

I say this every time...but arrrrrgh! Everything switch is 3 or 4 times more expensive than anywhere else. Nintendo is the Mac of the video game world. I don't wanna pay the tendo tax!

There is a timeline, but it's a loose one. In Dig 2, Dig 1's protagonist Rusty has gone missing and Dotty must find him. The story line is light but there is one. With that said they are both...

Typically Nintendo eshop sales start changing every Thursday at 12 pm and then can run anywhere from 5 to 14 days. I am not sure if they clearly advertise the deadline like the Playstation Store. ...

Bleed is really fun, but short. Multiple playthroughs are needed to unlock all weapons. Very satisfying slowing time to dodge bullets.

If I'm trying to decide between Dig 1 & 2, would you recommend 2 first as well?

I played through all of dig 1 on PC and had a great time, while I don't usually complete games. Picked up dig 2 on switch a while back and it's just not pulling me in as much. It might just be...

I'd say Dig 2 first. Then do Dig 1 if you like Dig 2. There is no continuation/timeline.

I tried both Dig 2 and Heist, btw. If you are on the border, go with Dig 2 first.

I played Dig 1 first, and really enjoyed it. Dig 2 is a much better game, and I probably wouldn’t have gone back to 1 if reversed the order. So if you plan to do both, start with 1. If you only...

Oh, I only tried Switch, sorry. I don't have 3DS and never tried playing Digs on 3DS. I did play Heist on both PC and Switch. Prefer Switch's portability

Damn. At $5 Dig 1 would have been a steal. It feels like Minecraft /Lemmings, good for both long and brief gaming sessions

I meant to say that one can freely play Dig 2 without ever playing Dig 1 and the experience will.not be ruined. But I stand corrected, you are right, there is a tie

Steamworld Heist has some RPG elements. The best way I can describe it is a combination of XCOM and Worms. It's a 2D, sidescrolling, turn based strategy game with manual aiming. I love it. I've...
