On the linked page for G3 in OP, it clearly stated "5. Optional Thunderbolt™ 3 with Type-C™". That page is for G3 only. It might be hard to find such a config I guess.

Thunderbolt is "optional" according the spec sheet. I believe its only on the six-core models although that hasn't been confirmed.

Correct, tb3 is not standard, it's only on some models. The Dell product page just doesn't tell you which ones. I got one with 8759h and 1050ti, hoping it has tb3. Won't know until it arrives.

Just the GPU and CPU alone is around $450-500. Add the rest and you are basically back to $750 range and that's not including a monitor lol.

1050ti should be fine with a G3. It It shouldn’t heat as much as a 1060 MaxQ.
