I would not pay more for MIA as MIM unless it was for flipping. I use a MIM for slide and MIJ ESP strat for standard I would not pay this price for MIM or MIA but that's just me I am not into...

In 1996 I paid $559 + tax for a new Strat Special red sunburst (made in Mexico). Still have it today in absolute mint condition. This seems like a good deal for this one imo.
